My products are charging shipping, how do I fix this?
PayPal may add shipping charges to your digital downloads if your PayPal account does not allow per-transaction overrides of standard physical product shipping rates. This will cause your Secure Delivery product (which has no shipping sent to PayPal) to have shipping charges automatically applied by PayPal on their end.
This is how to enable the payment button override and have free shipping products if you run in to this problem:
1. Log in to your PayPal account
2. After logging in, go to the Profile link under My Account
3. In the 3rd column under Selling Preferences, select "Shipping
Calculations"
4. For the first shipping method you have listed under Domestic Shipping
methods, check the box beside the method and click the orange "edit"
button.
5. On the Edit Shipping Method page that opens select "Yes"
beside "Use the Shipping Fee in my Transaction instead of my calculator's
settings"
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each addition shipping method if you have
more than 1 set up.
By performing these steps this will allow your physical products, which use
your account shipping calculations, to add shipping as normal while allowing
digital download products sold through Secure Delivery to override the account
shipping charges to free shipping.
